Mars Fever — Privacy Policy

The browser game at marsfever.com

The game needs no account, email or real name. The company name you choose is fictional and exists only inside your game.

The orbital game works offline after its first visit and pauses when you leave. It caches game files on your device. Your company is saved in two places: in your own browser, and as a compressed save file on our server. The server keeps the save, a random company id, and a one-way hash of your private company key. Your browser also stores the key with your save. Anyone who has that link can open your company, so keep it to yourself.

We count page views without cookies, and we keep ordinary web server logs for security and troubleshooting. The game has no advertising and sells nothing to anyone.

To delete a saved company, email us its company id (the part of your link after #o= (or #c= for the older game) and before the dot).

The Mars Fever storybook app

The storybook app collects no data. None. Everything you create in the app — your child's character, their name, story choices, and reading progress — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. The app contains no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; we receive no personal information from them. If you delete the app, everything it stored goes with it.
